WFS 150th Gala

Join us for an evening of celebrating 150 of Women Empowering Women as you enjoy live music, signature cocktails (including "Raise the Roof!"), a three-course dinner, and a silent auction - all in the splendor of the Maritime Ballroom. In addition, we will debut three new awards: -The Kate Tannatt Woods Award: The Woman’s Friend Society was founded following a call to action in 1875 by Kate Tannatt Woods, a Salem schoolteacher and representative of the Moral Education Society of Boston, who sought to promote the “moral elevation of women.”

Inspired by her legacy and the mission of the Woman’s Friend Society, this award is for a woman who demonstrates exceptional dedication to supporting those in need.
